I woke up today and my ca reactor is all cloudy. The water flow had slowed down and the ph of the reactor effluent dropped about .20 on the pH meter.

Did the pH drop melt the media?
Do I have anything to worry about?
Should I replace the media?
Any other advise would be helpful.

Thanks IA.

Nothing to worry about, you probably got a CO2 bubble or something that cause a rush of water, or a large air bubble in the bottom which will stir up the media and cause it to cloud. As long as you still have physical media in the reactor it is fine, it's just the effluent is now going to have a much higher Alk than it did before. Once it's flushed out of the system it will be fine.

It happens to mine every now and then when the outlet slows but the CO2 builds up.
