Are there any possible creature that graze on mushrooms (Discosoma/Rhodactis)?
I have a tank with many beloved SPS, but have constantly problems by mushrooms burning the SPS. I have tried many times to destroy them by hot kalkwasser, and scissors, but I estimate them to be thousands... (and only becoming more for each killing activity I try.)
I heard that raccoon butterflies may eat them, but they surely will eat some corals to.
Anyone have any idea, or heard/read something about it?
For pure curiosity I also wonder what keep them down in nature, is it the lower nutrions only?
