I am in the planning proccess on my fuge and I have a couple of questions. Right now I have a sump that doesn't really give me enough room for a fuge so I am thinking of buying a new one off of ebay

What is the benefit of having a seperate sump and fuge?
I have a Little Giant Pump, is it possible to turn the pump and run it with an elbow to the sump so it would run perpendicular as opposed to parallel?

A refugium is basically a secondary aquarium that shares water with your primary aquarium, continually cycling water into and out of the system. It provides a refuge where abeneficial species like live rock, macroalgae, and live sand beds(where natural nitrate reduction occurs) can thrive, sheltered from being disturbed or damaged in your main aquarium.
more or less that is what it is :D

Do not buy that second one, it requires assembly and that is not what you want to get.

If you want to buy a good refugium or a new refugium/sump combo email this guy:[email protected] I paid 155.00 shipped for this bad boy:
