Doesn't matter to me if RC is down or not. I'm not allowed to do anything in there anyway. Can't post in my album, can't post period, can't edit. All I can do is log on and read. Not much help for me I guess.

If you can not post I would say you are not logged on properly.

Sounds like he's "awaiting email confirmation." Must have changed his/her email address. You need to use the link in the email that is automatically generated by the system to "activate" your account. Until then, you won't be able to post.

If you can't find that email, then contact the site owner ([email protected]) and ask that the email be resent (you could also PM either GregT or JohnL with the same request).

Been there, done that. Last thing I posted on was the Glow fish tag. Asked for help twice from webmaster. No responce. Can't PM either or search. Just kinda stuck.

To tell the truth, I find #reefs members are quicker to reply, give more in-depth answers to queries, and more answers per post. At RC most quiries get lost in the shuffle. I'd rather be here anyway

Just type the IP address in the browser window where the resolved name owuld normally go. Looks like their server doesn't reply to ping requests but you can use 205.214.82.39 in your browser and go right in.

If that works and the name doesn't it might be some kind of DNS issue with your ISP perhaps. Try putting a host entry in for that ip and RC's address and it should work too.

EDIT - I noticed that when going in by IP it doesn't use your cookie for login/pw information however.
