Fission Nano Skimmer

I just got a nano skimmer for my jbj 6gal. and its ripping things apart... It didnt brake in and it laready is skimming things out.....
5 inches high 2 inches wide...u cant go wrong with that...:thrash: :fish:

i have always heard bad reviews on the fission nano skimmer......prove me wrong otherwise.....i need a little skimmer for my 10g...

I think I know y its bad reviews....

its very fragile because its made of 3-4 pieces that attach together and there is a little spongy cloth that filter out the water on its way out to the tank..... I think the main thing is Proporly setting up this little bastard, and having a direct feed of water being blasted into the skimmer.

The reason y i said its awesome is because me and my girlfriend( the nano is her gift) where amazed how much thick foam the skimmer started collecting.

there is a few things that the skimmer should be banned for but it is manageable with a simple modification.

I am sorry I cant ilustrate any photos, my camera broke and now i am sad.....

autoponicz, if u could fit a sapphire nano skimmer into ur nano it would prob. be ideal.this is just a $30 experiment....Ineeded the smallest and i got it. The skimmer is REALLY TINY.

im considering a sapphire skimmer....or maybe just try one of them HOB fuge with skimmer...

but then i still need to get a few things for my 50g ...:smash:

Never used a skimmer on my JBJ 12 gal. just calerpa....The calerpa was a mistake it grows out of control...In 1 month it grabbed all 4 clams and took all the light from acros.. Harvesting every 2 weeks..
