scoter blennies are very hard to keep. you will need alot of copepods to feed them. how much live rock do you have? how long have you been setup? i had a scooter that died because of starvation, couldnt provide the correct type of food for him. he would not eat prepared. GL though..

They are a dragonet - same family as a mandarin. Some have reported better luck getting scooters to eat prepared foods but many still don't have success with them.

I wouldn't buy one unless you have an established tank with lots of live rock and few competitors for the live food supply.

I didn't get him because I figured that was the case. I only have a 30 gallon, not good enough for one of those. Too bad, he was a very cool looking fish.

If you can find a large scooter you can feed him live tubefex worms and live brine shrimp, but these can fowl the tank and the frequent feedings required by a fish that feeds throught the day on copepods lend it best to a large reef setup.
