does the lawnmower eat the hair algae?

Cool fish!

Don't exactly know what kind of algae this was, but the little guy almost bust a gut wiping it out. This blenny was worth his weight in gold. Now he's got no problem wrestling the other fish for flake food.

yes, they are one and the same. i have one who eats any and all types of algae. caulerpa, hair, film...you name it. if you find that he may be running out of a natural source within your tank, you can always offer him nori. i supplement my blenny with nori and he loves it. hope that helps.
