Hi All
Can anyone tell me why ,over the past 12m i have lost 65 astrea/turbo's
In my tank i have avery large green brittle star, could he be the culprit?

Green brittle stars are the worst predators. When I had one he ate a fish as it was sleeping. I imagine this could be part of the problem. I gave mine away to anouther reefer. You also might not have had enough daitom growth to suppor this many snails.

Yes, my star is about 20'' across from tip to tip,my 6' tank has quite a few patches of algae growing!
