So anyone find any good online place for T. clam? I like to get mine locally, since the color is very different when you see it in person, FWIW.
My last two clams are reef oysters, I paid $45 for one, and $25 for another, definitely not those you want to put in pots.

Cazreef..im tired of this baiano guys stupid comments he never says anything worth while in the threads...i can care less that he is bagging on my avatar, my point is, he is constantly making worthless remarks towards people, especially those who have a nano reef...
ORA sells CB clams, every species except T.gigas. (www.orafarm.com) Your LFS should be able to obtain these. They're quite reasonably priced.

After keeping T. clams for many years, I started to have a taste for unusual ones. Was tempted to get a reef oyster (black & white color) for $60 until rational side of my brain stopped me.

So much passion for so small a point :!:
God forbid ya'll come over to Industry behind the hobby and talk about some things that count like SUSTAINABLE COLLECTING PRACTICES or CORAL REEF MANAGEMENT.
Then again...other sites have moderation and gross name calling and personal insults are reprimanded.

Steve, everything is relative, wouldn't you agree? For instance, I once had my butt seriously chewed on by an old black man for worrying about reefs and ecology when there were little children dying of hunger, neglect, or abuse in the inner city ghettoes. Everything is relative, my friend.

But there are also lots of poverty enhancing depleted reefs where black people eek out a meager living chasing fewer and fewer fish.
