Our admins are great at running this site. Everyday I'm glad that they are here to help us out. Im sure they don't need any extra recommendations :wink:

Yes, Shane gave me a suggestion to try to fix the problem but it is not working. I have no idea what the hell happened to my account.

Is your email a personal email address (home) or a company given address (work)?

It is a my personal address ISP. This just started happening yesterday afternoon/evening. BTW Im still waiting for them to email me back about "blacklisting" any reefs.org email.

I've got an email out to our sysadmin to see if there's anything funky going on from our end or maybe he's seeing bounced emails from you. I'll let you know what he says.

So you contacted your Internet Service Provider and they said they do not see any emails being filtered into their SPAM folder from @reefs.org addresses? Or maybe they blacklisted @reefs.org?

I sent an email to bellsouth.net and I am waiting for a reply. I turned the built in spam filter off, but apparently that was not the problem. If it is something on their end (bellsouth) I hope they get back to me soon.

This sucks lol :evil: :D :twisted:

thers nothing wrong with bellsouth.net maybe it the users lack of knowledge. remember therea no stupid questins just stupid people!!!!

E-mail will not always be instant- various conditions can cause delays of minutes, hours, and in very rare cases, days. If you never receive the messages at all, then one of the following three things happened:

1) Our server bounced the message for some reason.
2) MailGuard mistakenly blocked the message.
3) The message never reached our server.

If *@reefs.org receive a "bounce" message, please have them send a copy of it to you by another means, then send it to us by reply to this message or through http://help.bellsouth.net/ and we'll try to interpret it.

If *@reefs.org does not get a bounce message, log into http://WebMail.bellsouth.net/, go to MailGuard Options, click Review, then click OK. Next, have your friend send the e-mail again. To check wether MailGuard got it, go back to http://webmail.bellsouth.net/ and go to "Folders" and "MailGuard". If the message is there, forward a copy to [email protected] so that we can investigate removing it from the block list.

If there's no bounce message and the message isn't in MailGuard, then it never reached our servers, as we always either deliver the message, place it in the MailGuard folder (when Review is enabled), or send a bounce message. Please request that Reefs.org check with their own ISP(s) regarding the issue.
