Strontium

Just how important it is? I recently got a bottle of Kent Strontium and have added it a couple of times but wanted to also test for what I was putting into the tank. So.... I picked up a Seachem Strontium kit. What a pain in the a$$. First I am not sure if I did it correctly but I used the "reference" for my first test and it tested 25 mg/l and is supposed to be 12 mg/l. I guess I didnt do it right ehh.

So what is the Strontium level supposed to be? And does anyone have any experience with this kit? Or can you tell me how to use it since the directions didnt work well. Or is there a different kit that works well? Any help would be great.

Cool. I seen that after I made this post. Thanks. Now to try and master this test kit I just bought.

Yea I have that damn test kit as well. Takes me like a half an hour to do the test. I'm not sure I'm doing it right either since I never get any reading above zero. The calcium part of the test works fine, just not to sure about the Strontium part. I know it should have some in there because I've added several doses of Kents as well.
