I'm back. I've been out the hobby for about 2 years but was a regular here for a few years. I was the first "reefdood". anyways I just wanted to say hi and that I'm in the process of setting up my 90g SPS tank and 30g anemone tanks again. Both my tanks crashed while I was on vacation and the girl that was topping off my tank didn't notice the overflow had stopped.

Here are a few nostalgic pics of my former baby  ...

The sps tank was 90 gal tank, 30 gal sump, 1/4 h.p. chiller, (2) 250w iwasakis, (4) 4' vho's, plenum bottom, with B Ionic daily.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and I'll be around here soon. My tanks are dry but I'm in the process of buying the drygoods to get it started.

Welcome home Frank :)

BTW, why did you shut down your original tank?
Thanx. :)

I "shut it down" because when I was out of town for a week, my return pump stopped and the water wasn't being circulated from the sump. My chiller was plumbed to my sump. So the tank had no chilling or filtration for about 4 days. When I returned back I fixed the hardware, but it was just a downhill battle from there. Once the SPS started shedding the whole tank was gone in about a day. It got so nasty I had to move my fish into my 30. Well the fish were shocked and didn't all survive. So I gave all my livestock that remained to a friend.

When I get the tanks up again, I have many frags waiting for me, but there's no way I'll be able to get my two fish out of his tank though.

I think I'm gonna start off with the 30 first. Anemone and a pair of clowns. 175 MH & (3) 3' VHO's. 20 gal sump, with backpack in the sump. It's how I had it before with no probs.
