Hey everyone, Im new to this forum, it looks awesome. I have had a 150 gallon reef tank for about 8 months, and have a couple of questions. Does anyone know if the chlorine treatment "Prime" will build up sulfur in my tank that will eventually have a negative effect on any life? What i do is filter what through a "PUR" filter that is attached to my sink, then treat it with "Prime" and dump it in my tank when I need to top off. I know deionized water would be better, but i guess what I am asking is why, and will the "Prime" and its sulfur mess anything up? I have had no problems yet, but wonder if anyone else has. I'll post some pics soon of my tank and ask what you all think. Thanks.

really depends on how often and how much you do in water changes.. i don't remember where i heard it or if it's true but i've heard corals don't like prime.. i'd say get your own ro/di then u don't need to worry about your source water other then a tds reading every so often.. www.airwaterice.com i picked up the home/reef setup.. prob the best $200 i've spent.. i used to go fill up 20 gal's a week at the store.. talk about a pain
