Seems that everyone only sells the colored kind. I would rather have non-color changing ones. Hey, that color is going somewhere, right? In your tank!

Anyone know who carries them?

So when white snow melts, where does the white color goes?

For color change DI, you can recharge it by acid and base, and the color will come back. It is not "washed-off" as it filter water, and there is no concern regard this matter. The type of solvent they used in the manufacture process, however, is a bigger issue, and that's one of the reason I don't recommand people to drink DI water.

At any rate, I think you question was answered by some of the posters above. I am just want to be a jerk to you, Louey ;)
