I actually had to turn my cooling fan on even with the air conditioner set on 78. it was nice for a change though, I am so tired of the cold. This does not bode well for my putting MH lights on though

My basement tank was exactly 79* just like it was all winter. MH's and all.

I lived on a second floor for a while and my electric bill was through the roof from running the AC 24/7. It doesn't help being #2 in the country behind Maui Electric Co for highest electric rates.

Putting the tank in the basement definitely has advantages for me. Mainly, my main floor would get up to 78° during the day and I'd have a temperature spike and have to run with the hood partially open from May till late Sept.
