Using Coral Vital

Does anyone here use coral vital? What are everyone's good and bad experiences with this stuff? What's in this magic bottle?

I use it, but I just started a few weeks ago, not sure how good it is.

Coral vital worked really well for me. I only used it for a short time to enhance the growth of my purple coraline algae. After that it spread liek wildfire and I'm pleased with the product. Granted I only used it for 2-4 weeks and then stopped but I liked it for the purpose I needed it for.

Did you dose following the directions on the bottle or use your own method?

I went strictly by the bottle. May I ask, are you using this product to enahance coralline growth?

I havent started using it yet. A friend totalled out his tank last week and he gave me a 1 gallon container of this stuff with barely any used. I looked at some places online and the gallon cost over $100! Does it do anything other than help the coraline growth?

I don't think it does anything, even helping with coraline growth. I wouldn't put it in my tank.

Having proper cal and alk will lead to coraline growth. I wouldnt use it.

I wouldn't add it to my tank, but that's just me. If you want a nice coralline booster, try Seachem's "Reef Calcium."
