Colt Coral is nothing but SLIME!

What the heck happened? :?: The colt was looking fone for the past month ..them wham I come home today and it is nothing but a pile of slime! i immediately fot it out of the tank and put carbon on, I checked my levels and all are within acceptable limits.... However my brain isnt opening as much as I like it to, but I immagine its form some toxins relaesed formt he dying colt. ALl other corals are looking good, but the BTA is not as full as well....any Ideas?

I can't say for sure, but it's likely a pathogenic infection (bacterial or protozoan?). I recommend doing a large water change - over 50% - to bring the water back to good. Carbon works, but water change works better and faster.
