temperate marine livestock suppliers?

Hey,
Does anybody out there have a temperate marine tank? If so, I am interested in setting one up and need to find a source for livestock. Any info would be appreciated.

Hmm, I do have several at 55 F but I have a collecting permit to get stuff straight from the good ole' ocean. I'm not sure where to get stuff commercially. Corals, fish, inverts, or all of the above?

I suspect you are looking for pacific inverts? There were a couple of companies in the early 90s, but they went under when it became illegal to collect anemones. Or maybe they are still operating for educational outlets, I dunno. But this guy will custom collect atlantic species; he is on the tip on long island in NY, I think.

I have a neat book by David Wrobel called something like "the Temperate Marine Aquarium" from '92.

Thanks for the replies. I have found one source in Maine that supplies research specimens- www.gulfofme.com. I had found a supplier a while back in northern CA, but I haven't been able to find it again on any search engines. They were located somewhere around Monterey.
