Can you folks post some pics. of you 120 reef systems ?
I have the wife 95% sold on a 120 R.R. AGA
I really like the dimensions of 48"x24"x24"
A freind of mine has 12 of these @ a great price comming in this week !

I currently have a 29g. w/15g. DIY ref. that she bought me 2 years ago for Xmas & will keep in the kitchen.
The 29 is full of softies & I would like to set up a stoney/clam tank in the 120.
So if you post some pics. (wich would help me to sell her   )
could you also tell me what you are running for equipment ( skimmer , lights , reactors , etc. .....)
Thanks in advance !! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Here goes :)

Different dimentions, I'm afraid. 120g Perfecto XHi (60x18x28) set up as a room partition, viewable both sides. 55g sump, MAG1800 return -> scwd, PM426 skimmer, 2x400w Coralvue 12,000k... Not a very good shot, I'm afraid, but you get the idea. More available at http://www.midkiff.us.

Here is my 120g tank a couple years ago. It's completely junkie now, but this reminds me of what my tank used to look like ;) I gotta start up a new tank soon.

Sweet tank Len!
Mine is only 4 months into it, and about 10inches of the right hand side is missing from the photo.

Hehe, time and neglect happened ;) It's a decade old and has been neglected for the most part in 2003. IT's now highly shroom infested and some of my SPS have RTNed.

I'm looking to start a big outdoor tank sometime over the summer. At least I'm hoping to .... ;)

any thoughts on the new DE bulbs being related to the general health and appearance of the tank?
or has this been a slow decline?

While I doubt it's the new DEs, I can not absolutely rule it out either. There's just so much I've not cared for that I can't say what is responsible. I'd like to think it's just because the tank is so old and has run its course, but I know I'm responsible for some of it. :?
