Differences between deltec skimmer AP850 & TS1060

Hi.
I am just about to buy a new Deltec skimmer and I am not sure which one to go for. Deltec skimmer AP850 or TS1060?. They cost roughly the same £450 +-
My tank is 790liters or 174 UK gallons with live rock.
If you used any of those two skimmers and know the difference between them then please let me know asap. All I know is that the AP850 is up to 1500 liters and TS1060 1000 liters. Which one would you go for?

I'll move this to the General Reef Discussion forum where you may get more responses to your question. Deltec is a product line that is rarely seen in the United States and rarely seen by new reefkeepers, so you may have better luck in the GRD. I'll leave a copy of this thread here as well.

the 1060 is a smaller skimmer in its own box with some compartments for sponges or carbon, the box sits in the sump. the AP850 is a in-sump skimmer that is much bigger, like the euro-reef. look here for some pictures: http://www.ultimateaquatics.co.uk/acata ... pment.html

i was going to buy deltec because my friend in singapore use them but they are impossible to find in the us. i went with euroreef which everyone recommends.
