Anemone Advice Please Hosting a Maroon

Hello Everyone, seeking anemone advice. Here's the setup

4 vho's 2- 10k & 2 - Actinic 440w tank depth 26"

My tank is reaching the one year mark and I managed to maintain a healthy stable reef environment. I have a maroon clown and would like to find an anemone that it will hopefully host. I've read that Bubble tip Anemone's are a good choice, and among the bunch some of the hardiest. Beyond that, I have only a few sps which could be compromised (Frogspawn, Blasto Merletti). Everything else in my tank are soft corals.

Here's what i'd like info on,
Are Bubble tips my best option for hosting a maroon,
If so, does it matter if it's Green, rose, etc, etc.
Is my lighting strong enough?
My parameter's are monitored constantly, and they have been stable and within recommended ranges
What else should I consider in making the decision, open to any good resources , book, web, whatever. Thanks in advance for the info

Bubble tips are the perfect choice for you. Maroons should take to them immediately, they are hardy, and not particularly predatory. Red or green your choice. Your lights should be fine... mine are very happy under T-5's.

it sounds like you've got everything under control. i agree on the bubble tip. all you've got to decide now is: would my maroon clowns look cooler in a red or a green bubble tip?

I took a little time to watch the some clowns in action with the bubble tips @ my lfs, it's really cool how they get so comfortable amongst all of the bubbles.

Appreciate the confirmation, do you find that it is necessary to spot feed, or is light enough? thanks again

I've never spot fed them, but I do feed the tank pretty heavily and they definitely get some scraps that way. The clownfish will also bring them food from time to time.

in the event that anemone starts to not look so hot, you can try supplementing them with food. i don't see my clowns bring mine any food EVER though haha. selfish little......
