I have an auquacontroller 2 and just hooked up a new 250mh ballast (Icecap). It fired up a 250 single ended with no
problem. The ballast is set up to go on at night over my sps grow tank. When I woke up I found the tank was 74 and
none of my x10's responded. Did not turn my heaters on. I unplugged the ballast which was still on and no problem
turning on my x10's.

The ballast was purchase from marine depot and has a manufactured date november 2003.

So what do I do to solve the problem??? Its obvious its interferance, but again how do I solve the problem.

Thanks
Tony

Tony, there are AC line filters that will most likely solve your problem, but you may need to put filters on all the X10s :? FYI: AC line filters can be bought through Neptune or at Radio shack for considerably less. See what Icecap says.

There is also a direct-connect module that will circumvent your electrical line and hence any interference. Neptune sells one with 4 switched outlets (and you can daisy chain more if needed). I have no direct experience with this type of connection so it's best to contact Icecap.

It's actually my experience that Icecap ballasts, even MH, do not have too many problems with X10 interference.
