Hey All,
I going on the road for a month and going to leave my loved ones (Reef of Course.... what were you thinking) to the other half. She has done this before Testing dosing and keeping my log book current not bad for a non Hobbiest.
My question is I would like to make her life easier by use the B-Ionic, for a time period to cut down on her chore duties. I have been dabbling with it this week and doses of 35ml are still not producing enough to maintain Alk/ Cal.
1.)Is adding more possible(I have heard others at 55ml with bigger loads than mine) or am I shooting foot by adding in morning in large dose in current and not allowing proper reaction where increasing would do nothing more but precipate out. ......Sand on the glass thingy.
a.Would dripping in slower cause better reaction
b.Adding part two some minutes later to help?
2.)If there isn't enough Co2 or o2 in my tank to kick it (I know it says Ionic But...) Could this also be a factor while adding all at once in the morn.
Any Input to get me on the right track would be appreciated just don't want to keep increasing if I'm traveling down the wrong path.
Tank is dropping Cal. level from usuall 390+ from Kalk dripping to 320 ppm and falling with the Two part stuff.
Also Dkh is down to 9.1
Really want some good input. Thanks this will give me faster results in the right direction.
