Hi Gang,

I moved my 30" cube reeftank this weekend and it went off smoothly (whew!). Good thing I was only moving a block or so and I had some good friends (original #reefs members from long way back) to help.

Here are a few pix:

Everything in tubs.

A good chance to scrape the glass:

Add new sand with some seasoned sand on top:

Add the liverock back (with anemone):

Run those particulate filters!

you make it look easy :P

that's a killer tank.... as crazy as it may sound, that's the first cube tank I've ever seen filled with a reef, looks awesome!

He he he, theres nothing like the feeling of looking down on $1000 worth of stock in a couple of $1 buckets. Defenately getthe heart racing, good job on the pics James.

Thanks guys! Well now you all know what I look like...heh.

The open reef is a good way to balance. You leave lots of room for water motion and for corals to grow. It's a bommie in a box(tm) really. :)

It's an H. magnifica. I set up the cube specifically to keep this anemone. I have had it since October 2002.
