Well, my tank has been set up for a couple months now. This is my first reef tank, thought I'd try my hand at a FO setup for a while first, and it seems to be going great after a year. It's a 75g tank, 95lbs of LR and a 3" multi-grade sandbed. It's an older glass tank, not drilled, so I have a CPR BakPak 2R and a CPR SR2 (the in sump model currently not running). This week I'm going to buy an acrylic sump and setup the overflow, return and what not. So far all I've been adding is the little bottle of trace elements that comes with my salt (Marine Environment) with water changes and B-Ionic daily. I've seen those medical dosing units on ebay and was going to setup a system for dripping kalk into the tank at the same rate that I lose to evaporation. I figure it's about a gallon a day under 2x 40w NO actinic and 2x 250w MH 10k bulbs, going to have to figure out how much once the sump is setup, I think it will be easier to get a reading that way. Anyhow, what else should I be putting into the tank? I want to have everything as healty as possible, so strontium, magnesium, iodine? What do you all use and have good luck with? Thanks.
