Any coral can take over another coral. Just depends on where that are placed and how fast they grow.
Zoanthids (by the way, it's zoanthid, not zooanthid - a very common misconception) are hardy, colorful, and easy to keep. I don't know of anyone that has gotten rid of them because they were taking over the tank.
