anyone using the new E series Euro-reef?

my LFS says they are garbage.

i think he might be wrong and have been planning on getting one.

I just got one. I certainly hope they're not garbage.

I used to have a C series (?) that rocked. I still don't know why I sold it. At the time I thought I wouldn't start another big tank for awhile...yeah right. Anyway, the design is virtually identical. As far as I can tell, the C series is simply wider. The height and the pump, the position of the plumbing, it's all the same.

i think my LFS was referring to the construction being junky and for this reason he opted not to carry them

Mine works great. It's honestly the only trouble-free skimmer I've owned. And unfortunately, I've owned alot of skimmers.

It put my Downdraft skimmer to shame. It doesn't flood like my downdraft did either.

still good quality but less so than the c series. otherwise works great. If you dont intend to play soccor with it or hit it with a baseball bat i dont think you will run into any problems.
