whats the largest valonia you've ever seen? i have one way back in the far reaches of my tank the size of a golf ball. its really weird cuz clove polyps are growing over it and look like eyeball veins.
Kind of an old post, but in digging for some info on Valonia... I'll add my two cents. I have seen some monsters snorkeling and diving. Somewhere around the size of a softball maybe. In fact on one occassion I pointed out some monster bubble algae growing in bunches to my wife and she couldn't have cared less, LOL. That particular occassion was in Labadee, Haiti I think.
There is a clown breeder here in Upstate NY that has the record breaker in his tank. I can't remember his handle on RC, but that valonia is bigger than softball size as far as I remember.
