Well, I just lost my bubble tip to my maxijet 1200. He was sucked up WAY in the intake. Does anyone know where I can buy some type of foam pre-filter thing for my powerheads, or have any ideas on how to protect from this happening again?
Simply superglue a small piece of *fiberglass* window screen over the intake.
This does cut down on the flow though and you'll have to clean off debris regularly (using any type of pre-filter will affect the flow ).
