Fish Only Questions

I presently have a 55 gal. fish only tank. My question is what fish will live with damsels? I know some people do not like damsels, but I love the blue coloring. I like really colorful fish. I have searched this forum and cannot find a place for fish only questions, I quess reef is the only answer but I donot have the nerve to jump into that right now, new to SW. Hope someone can help.

That would depend on what genus and species you're calling a damsel.
The term Damsel tends to lump a bunch of different genera and species together some aggressive while others not so.
Depending on what fish you have plenty of other fish are compatible with them in, not only a FO but a Reef.

You could also have a tank that contains nothing but Damsels. There are many varieties, and many colors, and it would be relatively inexpensive too.

'Twould be at that! Otherwise, pseudochromids, basslets, small gobies (benthic, preferably), the damsel relatives - clownfishes.

live aquaria has a pretty good general compatability chart.. but again, it's a general chart.. some damsels get along with other fish better than others.
