Does anyone have any advice as to a good place for me to go and handpick my own live rock for my new 30g tank? I am looking for a location in the NY, NJ, PA, CT area.

Thank you,

Not That Fish Place in Lancaster! They have a bunch of it but it hardly has any Coralline coverage. Just a FYI, I've never gotten lousy rock by buying it online, and I even always get the 'crappy' 'base' rock. Even the base rock I've gotten has been covered with coralline.

Check out Dan at Paragon Aquatics in Haddam, CT.

Two years ago I drove up and Dan helped me pick my own. He has several huge tanks (more like aqua ponds) with curing rock. I am glad I do not have his electric bills. 8O

Great customer service.

Yeah, all of my rock came from Paragon. $5.50 for fully cured fiji. great price. HOWEVER, paragon is no longer. it's now Best pet's friend or something like that. It's in the same spot, one of the owners just left. the phone number is still the same: 860-3458426

Call before you drive up there, sometimes they dont' have much, but what they do have is really nice.
