You'll need to link the img file as a jpg, gif, or bmp. We can't see the images right now.

FWIW, little hydroids are rarely a big problem and they bloom as fast as they die off.

Still not working. It may have to do with yahoo not allowing outside linking. You may upload the images directly to Reefs.org. In the reply screen, there is an add attachment option below the text box. Add a jpg, gif, or bmp and it will load as a image. It's has to be 256kb or smaller. Hope that helps.

Star polyps. PUt them under a black light and if they are green they will light up green for you. Pretty cool find. Congratulations

woo-hoo .. i guess all the reading i've done about liverock hitchhiker had me parinoid .. it seems like i see 100 posts about something nasty and bad to every 1 post about a good find ...

i have to admit i'm thrilled to have such cool little critters ..

is there something i can do to encourage them to multiply? .. right now there are 5 spread out in an area the size of my thumb (yes i know you don't know how big my thumb is .. but work with me here ;-) ) but i would like to see them cover that whole rock .. am i looking at years worth of waiting? or can they spread fairly quickly in good conditions?

IN good Conditions they can spread fast. Some people have to cut them back they spread so fast. Good job on your find I can tkeep those things in my tank alive for the life of me. Oh well seems like your will do fine. Do a check on Star polyps and check what you can do to help these critters grow.

If you do it right you can grow this and sell the frags to you lfs and make some money off your tank for new critters
