This is my first post. I'm converting a 54 corner FOWLR to a reef tank and I added a pepp shrimp 5 days ago. I haven't seen him since. I have a purple psuedo chromis that nipped at him right when I put him in the tank. Is he hiding from the chromis, or does he only come out at night? If he's dead, I would think I would see his carcass ?

These things can hide very well. I wouldn't worry just yet.

And welcome to reefs.org, PW.

The pseudo just quickly established its territory.

Sometimes pepp's will be bold and stay out all the time. If it finds a suitable overhang in your rockwork, you'll probably only see it at night.

Pep. shrimps have been known to hide weeks or even months and then suddenly emerge again. Don't worry, be happy...especially that you found RDO. :D
