Havent been able to figure out what the heck these are? Just showed up one day growing on my LR and slowly grew and multiplied. If they are hitchhikers they must have survived over 2 years undetected from my original LR purchase for this tank. This pic was taken this morning when the actinics first came on...

The picture's pretty fuzzy but my guess would be macro algae probably the Genus Neomeris, Species annulata.

Was going to say Neomeris annulata but DM beat me to it. It's a calcerous algae - don't be surprised if it dissapears only to return unexpectedly months later.
