why is it that i seldom see more than one skimmer being utilized?

in most applications it seems cheaper and a lower profile is easier to obtain... so what gives?

I have two skimmers in my sump (bakpak 2 & Prizm) because my stand is only 20" high,, not enough room for one good large one.

I guess it depends on the system you have also...i guess if you have a nano up to 30gal? might just be a matter of space? i dont know...i have 20gal and run a bak pak 2r..ive considered running two but dont have the space..im starting a 10gal fuge to go with it..I dont know why ill need two with a fuge...

I used a prizm as a starter and 2 weeks ago I added a {Im afraid to sy it with all the recent neg. threads on it} seaclone 100 thats really kickin but i still have the prizm running and its really slowed down its production and the seaclone is pullin out double+ some since i added it. I might pull the prizm and run that on my 2 10gallon frag/grow out tanks that I am tyin together with a gravity loop/powerhead combo im buildin and really get that system stable and up 2 par 1 tank is cycled w/frags growin and the other is still 2 weeks new and comin along slow when i finish tying them together i will let you know how it goes!!
