It looks like you've strayed from the Hawai'i biotope? Only ONE fathead? Personally, I would go for a trio and skip the chalk basslets (I'm sure you've done your research, but from those who've kept them long term I hear that they get pretty nasty...sort of like the tiger barbs of the SW world).

Can't wait to see some pics of this when you get all the rock in there and aquascaped!

Did you get your baffles? If so how do they help with the sand?

I got them, but you have to remove the whole unit to glue them on. No thanks. I just put a lot of rubble in front of the lower outlet. There is a disclaimer on the instructions that you should get the baffles if you have a sandbed.
