Flatworm Exit did not exit the flat worms

I tried flatworm exit last week and I followed direction to the letter and nothing happened. I kept adding 1/2 a does more until I ended up using the whole thing in my 110. It appears that some of the flat worms died, but not all of them or in mass like I suspected. I did a 40 gal water change about 4 hours into the treatment and added carbon. I figured if it had gone that long it had done all it could do. Does any one have a suggestion on how to get rid on the flatworms that survived the treatment?

I had to dose at 10x strength. It worked but shocked the hell out of my system.
