I just took some pics of my 415. It's dimensions are 122"X28"X28" and it has been up and running since fall of 2001. It was doing awesome in 2002 and early 2003 but I lost almost all of my SPS corals on the right side in the summer of 2003 and its just now getting back in shape.

Nothing special but you are more than welcome to look and make any comments or suggestions that you might have.

A comedy of errors when I was gone on a 2 week vacation and I wasn't calibrating my refractometer regularly and I ended up with a specific gravity of about 1.017 on top of all the other issues.

That is a great tank you got there, Nathan.

That's interesting tank. I was just wondering what the problem was that made you lose sps?

Great looking tank, Nathan.

I was kind of wondering about the SPS problem too. It appears you've got different lighting on that side.

I actually have just recently switched from Iwasaki's to XM 10K bulbs about 2 months ago. That bulb has never burned as white as the others even when I tried it on different ballasts. I keep meaning to send it back and get a new bulb but it has actually gotten alot better than it was when I first got it.

Thanks for the compliments.

Very nice tank Nathan. Keep an eye on the gigas! I know several area reefers that have had them outgrow even large tanks quickly - last one got donated to Seaworld in SA.

Thanks. Actually, I am in the process of setting up a 1,225 gallon refugium that should house them for the next decade at least.

Howdy Nathan,

I was looking at the pics of your tank and noticed you have at least 3 royal grammas in there. Have you had any problems with them being too aggressive towards each other? I know that should't be and issue in such a large tank, but I noitced that they seem to always be in close proximity to each other in all the pictures.

Have they "bonded" and become a harem, or do they just constantly chase each other around the tank?

Peace,

Scott.
