oh man, woke up this morning, overflow sounded a bit different, ya know how you get used to how it's supposed to sound?

and found 1/2 my rba on the overflow tube, the other half in the sump, both appear ok, well as ok as I guess it could be.

It split at the mouth, the first one is now open and has closed around the tear, I guess to heal up, the other, although smaller seems to be doing the same thing, the third piece is quite small, about the size of a marble. the tentacles have filled a little.

anyone know the chance of survival on third one? I can't tell what part it came from, has about 6 tentacles, I have been doing searches here and elsewhere past two hours, I should be working, but hey...priorities ;)

the rba has been in the tank about 2 weeks, and a week ago, started going towards the overflow, I have fashioned eggcrate as best I can to stop it from going in, obviously not good enough. any ideas on what to use besides eggcrate?

thanks

nope, no flood, but now that you bring it up, I need to look at a second u-tube or something for the future...

thanks

Well I would imagine that a decent sized anemone could clog two tubes if they were adjacent to eachother. Perhaps another complete overflow box would be a more redundant, safer solution.
