skimmers again

OK I know this has been covered over and over and over but I wasn't really paying attention because I didn't need a new skimmer.

I am looking for a skimmer for my 50G tank with 20G sump. I know there are some really bad choices out there and some good ones around the $200 range I just don't remember which were the good brands and which to avoid. Could someone direct me to one of the many threads on this topic.

It's not the official site but I think it is explained enough and it is about what the prices are.

Do a search on various reef boards for "aquac remora", most have been happy with thier results.
(the urchin is an insump version of the remora)

With the proper construction and a good pump a DIY skimmer would be great.

Aqua Cs are great skimmers as well.
