I used anti-red on my tank to help with the algae, and dont worry, it worked ifne, no harm done. However, the LFS guy said it would work like overnight, however it took like a week. Being the lazy bum that I am, I left the carbon/cartirdge out of the filter for that long, and it eventually cleared up all me cyano on me sand!
I am happy, however, the reddish algae that covers my glass is still there. Considering this is anti-red, y didnt it take this away too? As for the cyano, will it come back. I was a little unsure of buying this chemical since it is technically a quick fix, but no cyano has come back and ts been 3 weeks. Possibly this is because i am feeding less, do u think itl come back if i feed more?Basically, im confused how this product works, and how it eliminates the cyanobacteria. Will it come back, how does anti-red work, and will it eliminate anything else? TIA, i know this whole post is a bit confusing, but its ahrd to explain.
