Well, there is only E. quadricolor in it's various color manifestations. If there are other species yet to be described, this is NOT one of them. It's possible that the complex may be broken up into a few species at some point, and I'm of the opinion it should. There are some marked morphological differences that are fairly consistent between the roses and some of the green varieties. However, this animal is nothing more than a run of the mill rose anemone. As far as they go, her specimen is far from the most stunning I've seen.

Somone over on RD phoned him already.
Well I called this Ki fella. He says he has no information on it, supposedly him and the seller went to a retailer in LA together and picked it up. He would not divulge the purchase price, only that he was surprised to see that she was selling it online because he thought she was going to sell anything that split from it to him.
He said it is most definately in the rose family, but not sure of the exact species name. He asked how much it was selling for and when he heard the price, all he said was "wow". I wanted to grill him a little more, but he sounded really busy so I just said thanks and good bye.

What a friggin sham. Even if it was legit (cough, cough) why would someone spend that amount of cash on ebay to someone with the stats of:

Would have to be something like:

Why are you all in such a flap? Heck it's not like anybody has BID on it... If she can find somebody dumb enough to part with that much money, flame THEM for their ignorance.
There *is* a sucker born every minute.. didn't some blue zoos go for over $500 on eBay? Heck I had a colony for sale and much larger than that little frag and it was a bargain at $70 for one of my best and most knowledgable customers... and he haggled me down

Just because it's listed does not mean it will sell. However IF she's already sold 2 for $1500 each, she must be a hell of a sales person!
