I love these little guys.

I have one thriving in my 2.5 pico, just wondered if it would be ok to add a second, possibly third?

And also, do the red and green version get along?

Oh also,

Are those crabs with the fan hand compatible with these guys (in this size tank)?

Not sure on their name.

I have 4 mithrax, 2 sally lightfoots in my tank. They bump into one another and go crazy when the food hits the water. They don't get into any major scuffles. Lots of times my serpent stars take food from them and in return they take food from the snails and hermit crabs.
Do you have any rock or hidding places for them? Do you have any fish?

Also, they do grow a bit. I have a couple that are very small but I also have one with big claws that can do some damage.

The tank I want them in is a 2.5gal pico, theres a small piece of rock, possibly 5lbs (ish). Theres no fish, but theres currently 4 hermits, 2 peppermints and 1 mythrax.

When they get too big I could add them to my 29 gal nano, but I'd like to have them in the 2.5gal together if at all possible.

I have had both the red and the green mithrax crabs in my tank at the same time. They are great, breed and dispense great live food to the tanks, but do get large over time. Once they get big, they may pick at corals. Thats the time to remove them.
