I just got a nice little bubble tip from the Lfs and am hoping to entice my clown to go in him, let me just say up front that the clown I have is a false percula and I know this is not there natural host but my tank is much to small for a carpet. With this being said is there any tricks or things that might be done to get a union between these two creatures.Thanx for the help....

I really think it is just luck that gets a clownfish to host in a particular coral.

I have had clowns in a tank with big fluffy leather corals, and you know what they chose? Underneath a powerhead.

Yep, just gotta wait unfortunately. I've heard of people trying to force clowns into anemones only for the anemone to eat the clown 8O

I got lucky, I brought home two baby TR black Ocellaris and they were trying to get into the RBTA while still in the bag! In my other tank, my Sebae clown started hosting in a hairy mushroom until it loved it to death. Then went into a BTA I got later.
