hey guys, here is a new fish i bought this past sat for my all fish tank. it is a passers angel and they are mean as a snake(but then he has to be because he went into a trigger/tang/grouper/damsel tank.

so far the yellow tang is the only one bothering him, but he can give as well as he gets. he was actually eating 2 seconds after i released him in the tank on sat. i have had them before and they are my favorite big angel. here is another pic of him and also 1 of the dog faced puffer in with him

A great choice! 8) Holocanthus passer is one of my favorite angels. They are aggressive, and problems my increase as he get's larger. (in your situation, groupers in particular can be victimized) However they don't grow very fast, which is both good and annoying. Good because a juvenile can be acquired and housed in smaller quarters (realatively speaking) for quite a long time. Annoying, becaue the adult coloration is GORGEOUS, but rarely seen in captivity. It takes forever and a day for them to change, as they have a rather protracted juvi coloration stage. A 6" passer still does not have the adult colors. :?
Males end up with white pelvic fins.

Good luck

i am more worried about the triggers getting their butts kicked by him. passers are very aggressive maybe the most aggressive of all the big angels. i had a 12 inch full adult about 15 years ago and he beat the hell out of everything in the tank, including a 12 inch queen trigger and a 6 inch undulate trigger, passers or as they are sometimes known, king angels can take care of themselves. this one was chasing a purple tang around the tank.
