just wandering anyone here had any luck keeping yellow gorgonian?
everyone tells me they want last long no matter what you do.
I feed mine every night with cyclopeeze and see polyps eating it.
any advice?

I would also feed the tank some smaller foods like DT's phytoplankton or BioPlankton and maybe even CoralPlankton if it were me. I feed a combination of these and Cyclopeeze to my tank

I just got a frag of one from GARF. So far it's been pretty finnicky about extending it's polyps but the people at GARF say that they're really indestructable. Perhaps the tank grown specimens are less particular about what they eat so they don't starve or more suited to using energy efficiently in an aquarium setting? I hope there's enough crap in my system to keep it well fed without adding plankton supplements.

Not to hijack, but a quick question: I have a photosynthetic gorgonian that's grown really big. I just added my new wave2k and it blows the gorg around like crazy which i would assume is good, but the coral is rubbing against the rock in places. I'm a little worries about chafing from the sharp rock. Will it be okay or should I move it out of the current? I have yet to see how polyp exention varies with current.
