First is a little snail looking fellow, but no shell. He is a fast mover. I saw him for the first time today.

I've thought for a while that I have a pistol shrimp or mantis because I hear clicking sounds sometimes. There is a large pile of fine dust at the base of his rock. I've looked and looked but have never seen anything till today. All I can see it the body part pictured. Looks almost like a work of some kind. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't see the critters of question in either pic. Sorry.
As for the first critter from your description: a snail looking fellow, but with no shell. He is a fast mover. That would most likely be a Stomatella varia. Does this look like it?

Second pic could be anything.
We need a much better pictures of both critters though.
