T-5 lighting on a Icecap 660

don't know if this should be in the DIY forum but does anyone know anything about using T-5 lamps? I read an article in FAMA and it said you can use some GE brand T-5 bulbs and it works as good as MH. Just wondering if anyone read this or if they know anything about this since I would like to try it but have no idea where to get the bulbs.

Here is where I ordered my T5's. I decided to go this route for low profile, high intensity bulbs. I wanted to add more actinics for corals and these 54watt blues should be a nice addition. Shipping tends to be more for this bulb type. More fragile I guess.

Yeah, I dont know much about t5s but thought that may help you out a little at least..
