I have a six stage RO/DI and I don’t know how to hook it up. There are three of the tall chambers on the bottom and three small filters on the top. It came assembled and had tubing going from one chamber to the other. There are three inlets/outlets that have no tubing in them. The center tube on top has a needle valve. The small filter next to it has one of the push in kinds for tubing and it has an arrow that points out and says flow. So I know that is an outlet. The third spot to put a water line is at one of the ends of the three big filter chambers on the bottom. I’m flippin lost on how to hook this up and getting irritated. Any help will be appreciated. Feel free to ask questions as I prolly didn’t explain well enough.

Thanks,
Shane

The water should flow from the tap-sediment-carbon-membrane-DI.

Have it go from the tap how ever you hook it up, I like the self peircing valve, on the COLD water line to the in on the sediment/floss filter, then have that go out to the carbon filter, this gets rid of the clorine that destroys most membranes, and have it flow to the membrane in the white plastic top housing, the waste water to the drain or saddle valve, and the good water line to your RO stage. If you have a picture of your unit it might help me picture what you have going on.

This is the unit that I have. I am going to just have it fill up my sump derectly with no sink valve or anything like that.

I see you have a self peircing needle valve for your input, and a black saddle valve to install above the j trap on the sink, just screw it on and drill a hole and put on the waste water line.

Besides that it looks like your filter has two floss/sediment filters, one on the left and one in the right clear canisters. The middle appears to be a carbon block.

The bottom middle white canister is your RO membrane, the gold L is the out for the waste water and the other L right next to it is the post processed water. After the water leaves the membrane on the left side it looks like it goes to a horizontal DI cart amd then through a second white filter possibly a coconut carbon filter.

So in your picture the bottom inlet is for you tap water in, then the top outlet is your good water to use and the middle output is your waste water going out to the saddle valve or drain.

How do you plan on using this for firect top off to the sump. Manually turning it on and off can be risky as it takes long and is easily forgotten.

Using a float valve in the sump can also be bad as use of CA additives like kalk can freeze the valve. If you are using a float valve you also need the auto shut off for the waste water.

That's a weird configuration, and it does looks like it is the case on the pic... well, kind of difficult to see.

The ASO valve shut off the input water, and no control is needed for the waste water.
