2 Sm. Perculas (tank raised)
Purple Dotyback
Lawnmower Blenny
Flame Hawkfish
Purple Tang

I added the tang last week. He's beautiful and doing well. In 2-3 weeks I'd like to start adding some soft corals and mushrooms. I had decided a long time ago that I wanted a Flame Angel as my last fish but I am torn because I really like the Lemonpeel Angel too (bright yellow). I'm wondering if I can add both at the same time in 5-6 weeks. I've heard/read conflicting opinions on keeping these two together in the same tank. I thought that maybe if I added them at the same time they'd be less likely to harm each other. Does anyone have this combination of angels in their tank? I'm also concerned that I'm pushing the limits on livestock. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Bill

1st off how big is your tank? and two Pygmy angels have a tendancy to nip corals...Not always and sometimes only specific corals but nonetheless something to look into/watch for...but without the specs on your tank noone can assess the amount of livestock you should/should not keep in your tank...

Largest fish being your tang that seems like a reasonable bioload for that size of a tank and compatibility i think is ok..its the hawkfish that poses a problem..if you ever plan on keeping decorative shrimp/crabs, ditch the hawkfish since it will eat them...the problem with the angels, is they may end up nipping corals..key word MAY...both are dwarf angels in the Centropyge genus and if you do some research, you'll find they have a nasty coral nipping record..Its hit or miss with them..your call..im not sure if the two angels are compatible with eachother either, but if they are and you add them, then rid the purple tang...Honestly, I think your better off with the purple tang (Z. Xanthurus) over the angels
